Vacation Bible School

More than 60 children filled the church for a week of stories, crafts, games, snacks, and Bible exploration, led by a wonderful team of volunteers. Thank you to everyone who planned, served, and prayed — the Lord blessed us with a joyful week.

Youth lunch sales earned $453 toward the National Youth Gathering in 2028, reported alongside the June 15-19 VBS announcement.

The 2025 Vacation Bible School, 'God's Wonder Lab,' hosted 72 registered children rotating through Bible storytelling, games, science experiments, snacks, crafts, and skits focused on Jesus's miracles, supported by many volunteers. DCE Tim Buss had earlier reported 70 children registered and appealed for more volunteers so no children would be turned away.

The 2024 Vacation Bible School, themed 'Celebrate the Savior,' ran June 17-21 with about 60 children registered and over 50 attending each day, organized into 8 groups rotating through 5 centers in a mixed-age format. Planned by Becky Brown, Cari Lowery, and Mr. Tim. A volunteer picnic (Chick-fil-A) and a family picnic at Marty Snook Park capped the week.

The 2023 Vacation Bible School enrolled 30 children for a week of songs, Bible lessons, and rotating activity stations led by numerous crew leaders, station helpers, and volunteers. Planned by Becky Brown and Cari Lowery.
