Open Arms Preschool — the Open Arms Christian Child Development Center (CCDC) — provides Christ-centered early education for children ages 2 through 5, taught in the love of Jesus. Under Director Natalie Evans, Open Arms has been named "Best Preschool in the Tri-State" and offers a nurturing, hands-on program alongside annual traditions like Touch-a-Truck, the spring graduation, and the end-of-year picnic.

Open Arms opened on September 2, 2025 with 49 children under a "Back to School" theme, featuring monthly Concordia "Grandparent" readers.
Open Arms and director Natalie Evans were voted best preschool in the tri-state area in 2024 and again in 2025 (two years running), and placed 3rd in the October 2024 Community Choice Awards.
Open Arms / CCDC reached capacity at 65 children with wait lists across all classes.
Open Arms recruited volunteers to "adopt" classrooms and read to children once or twice a month.
All five classrooms were repainted, floors stripped and buffed, plus a larger refrigerator and second check-in iPad added ahead of the school year.
Open Arms' flagship spring fundraiser (Touch-a-Truck with silent auction, bake sale, and youth concessions) grew each year: ~800 visitors and ~$8,000 in 2023, ~500 attendees/30 vehicles and ~$7,730 in 2024, ~$7,000 in 2025 (rescheduled to June 14 to avoid a city event), and a best-ever ~$9,000 in 2026 with a 100+ item silent auction.
Open Arms children joined Palm Sunday processions and shared songs learned in weekly chapel with Pastor Mark.
Open Arms closed each school year with a Field Day, a cap-and-gown graduation in a standing-room-only sanctuary, and an end-of-year picnic at Marty Snook Park.
