An LWML grant of $85,000 funded a mobile kitchen trailer for a Gulf Coast disaster response team to serve meals to communities in need.
The LWML signed up as a sponsor through the St. Louis Seminary Adopt-a-Student program and was paired with seminarian Erick Quezada; Quezada later reported receiving his Vicarage assignment to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Boca Raton, FL at the April call service.
Lutheran Women in Mission raised $508 toward outreach programs through their 2024 Souper Bowl soup mix sale, which offered four varieties of dry soup mixes plus padded microwave bowl holders; special thanks went to Nancy Flicek for colorful bowl covers.
LWML mite offerings supported Grant No. 21, with a $106,000 check presented to Lutheran Family Service in Ft. Dodge, Iowa as an example of mites at work.
The 2023 LWML Christmas luncheon (themed 'Sounds of Christmas') drew 44 women and girls and included an ingathering of over 300 pairs of children's underwear for Orphan Grain Train.
Concordia has marked LWML Sunday in successive years with women participating in worship: in 2023 women took part in the service and provided cookies for coffee; in 2024 the group elected new officers that week and planned the Nativity Walk and Christmas luncheon; in 2025 women served as ushers and gave the children's message, with previews of the Holiday Market and pie fundraiser.
Nancy Flicek, Sara Hilmer, and Sylvia Shives attended the Chesapeake District Christian Life Retreat in Ocean City, MD, centered on the Bible study 'Measured by Grace' led by author Sharla Fritz.
The LWML voted to 'Adopt a Student' at the seminary through the Seminary Guild for a year and continued donations to Orphan Grain Train to help with shipping costs.
